The French quartet has redefined turntablism, combining electro, pop, jazz, and hip hop, C2C initially came together in 1998, formed by four high school friends 20Syl, Greem, Pfel, and Atom. From 2003-2006, they conquered the DMC Championship, winning four times in a row and creating a worldwide fan base.

In their song, F-U-Y-A the sound starts off with a unique oriental type sound which leads into, and is soon almost replaced by, thick drum beats, and scratching records. Almost immediately after that, clapping starts which seems to keep the different beats and noises together. Through the whole song beats go down and come back, even stronger than they start. At one point the sound is solely comprised of army marching drums and fast paced record scratching accompanied by harmonic singing. After that, electronic drums are blasted into your ears, creating an exhilarating sound, voices sing once again, which adds all three main aspects of singing, drums and clapping, to create a climax for the song, then slowly fades and ends.
