Benjamin Francis Leftwich is an English singer/songwriter from York, England. His soothing vocals and acoustic guitar give him a unique sound. He released his debut album on July 3rd of 2011 after previously having released three singles and two EP’s.

This album has a great opening song titled Pictures, one of the more soothing songs on the album. The seventh song, Shine, is a little more upbeat, but still has a soft flow as the rest of the album does. The meanings behind all his songs on this album are definitely worth paying attention to. One of the last songs on the album, Last Smoke Before the Snowstorm, pretty much sums it up. This song has various background instruments, which gives it a little different sound than the other acoustic ones. Overall this debut album is definitely worth listening to by purchasing on itunes!
