Music News: My Chemical Romance Calls It Quits

Bad news from the zones, tumbleweeds; after 12 years, the New Jersey band My Chemical Romance calls it quits. Announced on twitter, Gerard Way posts their first album cover and says “Beyond any sadness, what I feel the most is pride.” (x)
With this band calling it quits now, no reports have come out of mentioned side projects or solo records; however, Frankie Lero may continue on composing music for movies, similar to Frankenweenie.

Though this band is quitting it, they have done so much. Saving lives and bringing amazing music that never ceases to amaze is something I personally associate with My Chem. Hopefully this isn’t the last time we see these men. In the words of Dr.Death “it’s time to hit the red line and up thrust the volume out there, keep your boots tight, keep your gun close and die with your mask on if you got to.”
