A lot of people have been buzzing about The Griswolds since late last year with the release of their EP. The band has been around since 2011, and has yet to release their own full album.

Fans of the Australian band have been patient. Since their inception, fans had to wait a year for any real news or progress with the band. After winning Australia’s Triple J “Unearthed” feature artist, fans had to wait another year in 2013 for the release of the band’s first EP ‘Heart Of A Lion’. Throughout all the patience, The Griswolds recently started an extensive North American tour and yes, finally their debut album.

‘Be Impressive’ is set to release to the world on August 26th this year through Wind Up Records. Tony Hoffer produced the album alongside the band, and if you don’t know who that is, he’s worked with some great artists on some amazing albums. He produced for Beck, M83, Fitz & The Tantrums, and many other talents.

 

Along with the announcement, the quartet also released the very first single from the album called “Beware The Dog”. If this song is any clue to how the new album turns out, we sure are in for a treat. Listen to the song below, and check out their upcoming tour dates to see if you are nearby!
