As soon as we saw the sibling duo separate and go their own ways to pursue solo careers, we thought we would never hear new music coming from the pair again. The musical duo didn’t think so either due to the fact that they were both reveling in their new found creative freedom as solo artists, but when the pair met with producer Rick Rubin the flame was ignited and the recording of a new album began.

‘Angus & Julia Stone’ is the result of the time the siblings spent at Rubin’s Shangri La Studios in Malibu and with that comes a new single.

“Death Defying Acts” is the first single to be heard off the self-titled album and is so splendid that is has us at Soft Concrete counting down the days till the album comes out.
