The video, filmed live during lockdown, is a meteorite shower of space science, planet-poking and harp-playing spacecraft operators coming together with The Avalanches’ Robbie Chater and Tony DiBlasi in the most cosmic collaboration imaginable.

If you haven’t been living under a rock then you know that The Avalanches have been releasing new music which is one good thing that has come out of 2020 so far, it is even better news since the last time we got any new original music from them was all the way back in 2016. If you have been living under a rock, well then now you’ve been informed.

However, what’s even better than all that? A new music video, marking the first time the group has ever appeared in a video, for their latest release “Wherever You Go”.

The clip, filmed during lockdown and over Zoom, features The Avalanches and CLYPSO with a team of intrepid scientists, astronauts and engineers from the SETI Institute and NASA for a musical performance like no other.

Be sure to watch the cosmic live performance below!
