Born out of a spontaneous jam session on the day they first met, Khanvict and Lost Strings knew they had created magic.
Pakistani native turned Canadian local, Khanvict found himself immersed in the ultra-competitive world of South Asian dance parties during his early teens, shortly becoming one of the most in-demand DJs in the scene.
Khanvict’s second single from upcoming album ‘Escape’ features blends of eastern influences with West Coast bass music. With perfectly curated beats and ambient sounds “Something Worth Protecting” is a treasure to hold on to.
However, what makes the track unique and ever-so peaceful is the mystical sounds of the North Indian Dilruba played by The Lost Strings. This contribution along with the finely sculpted production and ambient soundscapes gives us a little teaser of what to except from Khanvict’s upcoming album ‘Escape’ due for release in late 2020.
