Los Angeles’ enigmatic group The Mercy Beat has recently announced the release date of their upcoming EP and has released a music video for the song “Sweet”.
The EP will be self-titled and will be coming to us on June 17th.

The EP is a poppy new wave revival for 2014. Both Ian the bass player and Matty the guitarist began their musical careers in punk bands in China and Hawaii. Singer Sam performed in his own new wave group when he met Ian and Matty. These are the diverse influences that form the unexampled sound of The Mercy Beat.
